He became active in the Life Settlement industry when it began its transition to an institutionally driven market. Today, Jon is established as a leading figure in the field. His track record for success places him in the top echelon of Life Settlement producers while his knowledge of the secondary market has made him an in-demand speaker among professional advisors and trustees throughout the country. Mr. Mendelsohn has spoken at numerous national financial services conferences and is available to provide continuing education for both financial advisors and attorneys from coast-to-coast. Jon considers himself fortunate to have worked with many of the nation's leading wealth management firms, attorneys, and financial planning advisors. His expertise in both the operational and marketing components of the secondary market, combined with his extensive experience of the Life Settlement process has helped to place Ashar Group, LLC at the forefront of this rapidly expanding sector of the life insurance field. Born in Baltimore, MD, Jon and his family moved to Central Florida where he later attended the University of Florida earning two Bachelor's Degrees in Economics and Marketing as well as a Master's Degree in Education. Jon is proud to serve as a member of The International Forum, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the CBC of Seminole County, an organization dedicated to the private placement of neglected and abused children in the foster care system. He is also a member of the Tzedakah Society of Central Florida. Paul W. Bowen Paul W. Bowen is a partner at Ashar Group, LLC and brings expertise in both relationship management and marketing. Paul has been privileged to work with many of the nation's top financial advisors and planning professionals. Mr. Bowen earned his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Florida where he also played on multiple championship football teams. Like the other members of the Company's executive management team, Paul is an accomplished speaker who has conducted numerous seminars and workshops on behalf of the Life Settlement industry including Trusts and Estates Magazine's Wealth Management Conference, the National Brokers Association Training Seminar, Certified Senior Advisor Training Seminars, the national convention of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the World Critical Illness Insurance Conference in Victoria, British Columbia, and the Trust Advisory Group's Training Seminar regarding Life Settlements. Mendelsohn Jason Mendelsohn is a partner at Ashar Group LLC, bringing to the Company over 15 years of business, sales, and insurance experience as well as a proven track record for expanding market share. Since obtaining his Bachelor's Degree from Emory University, Mr. Mendelsohn has acquired extensive knowledge throughout the banking and financial service industries. Well-known for his ability to improve all aspects of an institution's business model, Jason utilizes a consultative approach focused on compliance, risk management, work process improvement, operations, and technology management. Mr. Mendelsohn holds both Life and Health insurance licenses issued by the Florida Department of Financial Services as well as multiple state specific life settlement licenses.
